This week

Hi all,

This week we are going to be carrying on with our topic - Under the Sea. The children will be discussing what they already know about the ocean and fish. Later in the week we will be looking at the anatomy of a fish.

In writing this week we are going to carry on learning about similes and the children will write some under the sea similes. We will then move on to describing sea creatures.

Electives started with success last week. The children were buzzing about using some of their strengths in their electives group. Electives will carry on for the rest of this term.

We will be having some strength based learning time on Friday when the children can discuss their strengths and how they are going with achieving their goal.

Look out for some of the children's similes on the blog as they will be publishing them on here for you to read. It would be fantastic if you could comment on their work as you are a fantastic audience for the children and they love reading comments on the blog.
