Sophie the Bucket Filler

Last week our amazing Bucket Filler was Sophie!

Here are some of the things the children said about Sophie:

"She is kind" "She fills other peoples buckets" "She always listens to the teacher" "She is a great friend"

Wow - no wonder Sophie got to be the Bucket Filler last week.

Keep it up Sophie!

Homework and Housekeeping

Hi everyone,

Thanks for remembering to send your child's homework back to school on Friday. Please feel free to use the pages in their homework book to complete homework tasks such as writing their sentences.

Can you remind the children that Friday's are the big day for bringing things back to school. Their homework books, poetry books, library books and any reading books I have sent home that week should all come back on Friday please.

My apologies for not making Meet the Teacher Night last week, I was quite unwell! I have sent home the information booklet today for you to look at. Let me know if you have any questions. I have also sent home a notice about swimming. We start out swimming programme next week and need lots of parent helpers so even if you can only come for one day the children and I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks again for your support.

We wrote recounts about our trip to the Art Gallery. In the next few days some of us will post our recounts onto the blog for you to read and to find out more about our trip. Ka Kite for now Room 17
